Trekking Style in Nepal

 

Trekking in the Himalaya generally involves following existing walking trails, most of which have been used for communication and trade for many hundred of years. There are some different styles of trekking: camping Himalaya Trekking Holiday or (Expedition style of Himalaya Trekking Holiday) Tea house style of Himalaya Trekking Holiday, Gap Himalaya Trekking Holiday.

 

Camping Himalaya Trekking Holiday

This type of Himalaya Trekking Holiday is also known as a expedition style Trekking. This is the high level classic style of trekking also known fully organized treks supplying all camping equipments (Sleeping, kitchen, dining and toilet tent etc. along with the food and porters to carry your gear and Sherpas to set up tents.

 

It is the sherpa crews job to perform all the camp work, from setting up to perform all the camp work, from setting up to providing freshly made meals, to leaving the site clean on departure. We provide twin share dome or a frame sleeping tents, a kitchen tent, mess tent and toilet tent. We also provide tables, chair or stools, lanterns candles, thin sleeping mattresses and all crockery and cutlery as well as a fully equipped kitchen, setup. The Sherpa crew will be cook, wash up, provide hot water for washing and tea and coffee at night and your wakeup call and are a key part of a safe and enjoyable trek, as well as good humor and entertainment during the journey. Food is mixture of Asian and western dishes with lots of choice, freshly prepared. As with teahouse trekking you can expect 3 main meals each day. Soft drinks, welts, mineral water bottle and alcohol are not included.

 

Tea house Himalaya Trekking Holiday

This kind of trekking holiday is most common choice and popular trekking style in Nepal. Particularly in the Everest, Annapurna and Langtang Regions, enterprising villagers have built teahouse lodges. These are similar to European style alpine lodges and after simple but comfortable accommodation and food. We offer a selection of single /twin sharing rooms in the best available lodges run to high level of service. We also supply a four season sleeping bag and cotton liner and a down jacket free of charge on the trek. Hire of any others key items if needed can be arranged in advance. During the trek you will have 3 meals a day, with a mixture of European and Asian style dishes and large portions, including varied choices for vegetarian's soft drink, sweets bottle water and alcohol are not included.

 

GAP(Guide And Porter )Himalayan Trekking Holiday

This option of the trek is for those who want basic support from us. This is an abbreviation of guide accommodation and porters (GAP). We provide English speaking, government license holder guide, sherpa, porter accordance to your requirement, book and pay for the accommodation in local lodges during trek and arrange required porters and trekkers pay for meals directly to the local lodge owner. This option works only in certain routes in Everest, Langtang and Annapurna regions, where trekking routes are served by local tea house or lodges. You pay for your own meals. We take care of all expenses of our staff.
