Joinn Group Annapurna Circuit Trek.

Trekking around Annapurna is an ideal way to encounter remote culture, various ethnic groups, lofty mountains and ancient historical monuments. A walk of around eighteen days duration around the Annapurna massif, is widely considered to be the classic Nepal trek. The route circles the Annapurna and Lamjung Himal(6,983), including Annapurna I, the tenth-highest peak in the world, Annapurna II(7,937) Annapurna IV(7,525m), Annapurna II(7,555m) and Gangapurna(7,455m). On the eastern front, it traces the Marsyangdi River up and over the Thorung La pass (5,416m). This region is called Manang village, (3535), the largest and last significant settlement in the valley decorated with simpler monastry. The clusters of flat-roofed stone building huddled against eroding cliffs are the villages of Pisang and Braga Braga’s 500-year-old gompa is one of the cultural highlight of the valley. People are Buddhist here, influenced by Tibetan culture. Buddhist prayer flag flying from the house’s corners and set on huge pile of rocks on mountain-top are sources of astonishment. The route through thorung La pass finally descends the long gorge of the kali Gandaki River to the west. This region is called Mustang. On the way lies Muktinath, a combination of Buddhism and Hinduism, golorified with Hindu and Buddhist history. On the windy route by kaligandaki river, the trial reaches Jomsom, Mustang’s headquarter, from where Nilgiri Himal and Dhaulargiri are impressive. Now through the world’s deepest gorge created by Dhaulagiri (8177m) and Annapurna I, the trial enters tradition villages of Thakalies. Meandering along the trail ups and down among mountain ridges and valleys, thrusts visitors into Pun village called Ghorepani a wonderful place to view over twenty snow-capped mountains in a long semi-circle chain. The Annpurna circuit trek, regarded as incomplete without stepping at Ghorepani and Pun hill (one hour up the Ghorepani village) makes a circle ending at Birethanti through rhododendron forest down via Ghorepani.

Your trek starts form Besisahar (760m) and up the Marsyangdi River letting you a lovely chance fix your eyes at Annapurna II to IV, Mansalu (8,163), Himal Chuli(7,893) Peak 29(7,835) and. Until you reach Manang village, you will be noticed how different ethnic groups (Brahmans and Newars) have merged together.
